Is this real? If it is then I can see why some people think Christians are crazy... This is the only wildlife I've seen this week so far...as I've been cooped up inside, laid low by a virus. #mondaymusings This is a strong statement to make, but one I do accept. Though how far this thought goes, I must admit, I still don't know. Evolution is a highly controversial subject, or at least some would have you believe. Though my strangest conversation about evolution was with an atheist who claimed it was "just a theory". I understand when my fellow people of faith make this claim. They use their belief in God and a literal reading of Genesis as their basis of denial of the Theory of Evolution. And kudos to them for sticking to their convictions. For me, there is too much evidence for evolution to not be accepted and unless new scientific evidence comes out to debunk it I will continue to accept the Theory of Evolution. #marlysthoughts #marlysinstaweek #evolution

#marlysinstaweek I'm going to visit some of my favourite kids books for #texttuesdays at least for the next month. And I want to start with one that my dad used to read to me a lot. Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham. A fantastic rhyming story that is filled with humour and can be read over and over without becoming a bore. Or at least I think so haha. "I am Sam. Sam I am. For my first #mondaymusings I thought I'd touch on my thoughts on this much maligned @simpleplan song. Also as a Segway into my Saturday Instagram theme ;) The uproar around this song is legendary; at least within the SP fan base. To this day, I don't understand the backlash against this track. Sure, it's not their best song and it almost comes across as a parody of their own music, but it didn't deserve the vitriol that was spilled against it when it was released. The fact that the guys in the band had to defend their choice to put it out to the public...saddened me. Even now, I think it is one of the lowest points within this fandom. I personally love this track, and it is my Saturday anthem ;) Now to my Segway...I think my weekly SP photo/post will find its place on Saturdays.
