I had saved it to do a reference chart of Marmit’s licensed doll but never actually did it because it would be kind of a huge undertaking. They did a lot more characters from anime, manga and games than they did their own characters.

Marmit did a number of licensed dolls but they also had their own characters. This is a quick chart to help you identify them!

Forget each version having a new costume and hair color, Marmit looooved putting out multiple hair colors of the same character-costume combo. Just because you can only find photos of brunette Rumis in maid costumes doesn’t mean your green haired Rumi in a maid costume has been redressed.

“BLEH! So sick of looking at photos of sad elves dressed in blue! Up they go!

Take 1: First try. Best shot looked fuzzy, even after editing. Guess it was too cloudy. Take 2: About a week later. Turned out a bit brigher, a bit sharper, but still not perfect. Close Up: Pretty sharp but kind of lazy.

Dress, Apron, Bloomers: Takara Jenny Shoes: Jun Planning Pullip Stockings: Hastily made by me. Partially to complete the outfit and partially to put a layer between aging hard vinyl feet and aging vinyl shoes.“

A Marmit Sayaka Yumi in better condition. Not sure if the discolored one I posted last night originally had brown hair like this one or if the hair oxidized. Marmit liked playing Musical Haircolors and there is a short haired, jet black variant as well.
