Ok.... so if I have to choose one, I would pick Auston Matthews cuz he was kinda the first player I fell in love with - one of my friends used to show me videos of him to get me out of panic attacks. And then I started learning more about him and the Leafs and fell in love with hockey more and more every day. That gateway into hockey really helped me through my first year of college and he just makes me so proud whenever I see him. So I guess overall, just a solid rock of calm in my hectic life

auston matthews is definitely a good player to love. i kinda fell in love with him too, a little bit. i only know bits and pieces about him off the ice, but on the ice he’s a beast and plays like a veteran despite being so young. i know he means a lot to a lot of different people for a lot of different reasons. and personally i just look forward to watching him play in the league for a long, long time
