Maro: “Where Caro Friend? Caro! Caaarrrooo! Should have looked for Caro Friend in Portland. THE Big Bad German knows where all Big Bad Germans are. Gonna summon Caro Friend.” Maro pulls out a ball and starts juggling: “Ball, ball, ball, ball. Caro Friend! Ball, ball, ball, ball.”

Hi! Maro anon. Here are my Maro thoughts on the OL game. Maro: “Ball! Ball, ball, ball, but in English. But coach still French? But ball is English. But not Lucy Friend English, American English. Like Krieger! Miss Krieger 🥺 When ball against purple team? But not purple flower team.” NC Courage: “ATTACK!” Maro: “Why all in midfield? Go away! Want to American English ball. Gotta forget French Ball and learn American English Ball. Why so fast? Why no build ups? Launch? Just launch ball. Okay, will launch ball.” Dzsenifer Van De Donk: “LAUN-“ Maro: “NO 😡 Didn’t you sign contract and stay to play French Ball?” Dzsenifer Van De Donk: “Fine. Gonna mess up this pass before I leave 😒” Debinha: “🏃‍♀️💨💨💨” Maro: “So, SO fast! Sarah, look how fast! Oh, she’s past you already. Look back! So fast. Right! Back to learning American English Ball.” Balcer and Huerta: “Miss 😭 Miss 😭 Miss 😭” Maro: “American English Ball very much like French Ball Without Ada…” Bouhaddi: “BOUHADDI!!!” Maro: “Why in midfield? Thought we agreed. I midfield, you goal! Where Wendie and Lucy? Sarah loose, come get! Oh. No Wendie OR Lucy. I have to go get. Sarah, shoo! Shoo, shoo, shoo! My ball and my midfield.” Fishlock comes in. Maro: “By my ball and my midfield I mean OUR midfield….but still my ball? SARAH! MY ball. YOUR goal. SHOO!” 😂😂😂😂 And that’s my Maro Thought Summary of the game. All in all, Maro seemed to get some good touches in. A few sloppy passes here and there, but no one clothes lined her like they did Sam Kerr when she switched leagues so I’m going to chalk it up to a success. Bouhaddi however is going to get eaten alive if she keeps pulling Bouhaddis. I really don’t think this league and it’s style of play are going to benefit a keeper that likes to wander. Thoughts?

I think she made some pretty good saves but Reign's defense also isn't what Lyon's was so it'll be fun to see how it goes!

Hi! Maro anon. Before I give you my thoughts, anyone else frustrated with Reign’s inability to make anything happen with Mario’s passes and services? Also, why is Shirley not playing? She’s made a big difference in the games they’ve let her start or subbed in at the half. Thoughts? Here are my Reign v Racing thoughts. Maro: “Another day. Another AMERICAN day. Another lo-se 😭” Barnes: “WIN!” Maro: “Do not like American ball and American lo-se but do like What’s Her Name 🥺 So positive!” Barnes: “WIN!” Balcer scores. Maro: “Ball goal! AMERICAN BABY BALL GOAL! Ball! Ball, ball, ball, BALL!” Barnes: “WIN!” Maro: “Positive ball like What’s Her Name! Ball goal like American Baby! WIN!” Fishlock skies the back heel pass. Maro: “LO-SE 😭 Why Tiny Dragon ball goal sky? Goal not in sky! Goal taller than Tiny Dragon but not that tall! Where Viking? Viking not ball goal sky 😡”

Hi Maro anon! Indeed that is a bit frustrating but I think they're getting there, they needed tiny dragon on for longer yesterday but it's good that she got rest too.

The not offside goal annoyed me though, that was the game winner.

I would love to see more of Shirley soon too!
