Winter; why did it have to be so brutal? Why must it be that Mother Nature decided to muster up a season that made the earths inhabitants shake to their very bones if they were not prepared with the proper winter attire? This question, Elizabeth knew could never be answered. For none could figure out the answer.
But that was quite alright, for the lady would enjoy the season as it came. She would gladly play out in the winter snow with her eldest brother, laugh, and make new memories that she were to share when she was to have her very own children.
Elizabeth would also gladly enjoy the warmth of the indoors once she had gotten to be too cold, with her winter clothing lay drying on the floor in front of the fire, and with her sitting, arms crossed and in her nightgown, on the settee in front of the fireplace.
There had been one moment she were wishing for a blanket, and she was just about to ring Paula to see if she could grant her wish, when someone granted it for her instead.
With a strong arm wrapping around her delicate shoulders, the child knew who the arm belonged to; her most wonderful father. And with a smile that burnt brighter than the fireplace itself, Elizabeth gladly accepts the blanket her father secures her with and delicately places her golden head against his chest, as she snuggles up to him to gain extra heat.
"Oh daddy, you simply are the most wonderful daddy in the world!~"
