It was a cold December morning has Epi sat in the living room with her auntie Ash. Ash had been watching her for the past day or two. Though the toddler was confused on why. She didn't really understand what was going on or than her parents were at the hospital and she got to eat in the living room.

The little girl put her donut and patted on Ash's shoulder. Ash turned her head as she swallowed her bite of donut.

"what is it sweetie?" Ash asked looking at her with a smile.

"why mama in the hospital?" Epi asked a worried look in her blue eyes.

"Oh! It's because little brother is on his way sweetheart" Ash said with a chuckle as she kissed Epi's forehead," I'm sorry I thought you knew that"

"oh." Epi mumbled still a bit confused. She went back to eating her donut as Ash got a call. She ruffled the toddler's hair and got up to answer the phone in the hallway.

"hey what's up Larry everything ok?" Ash asked softly.

"little fella and Sal are doing great sorry we both needed a little sleep. Mind bringing Epi here so she can meet Mars?" Larry said with a chuckle as he rubbed the newborn's cheek with his free hand. Sal kissed the baby's forehead.

"of course just let us finish breakfast and get dressed then we'll be right up" Ash said cheerfully.

"thanks Ash"

A little while later, Epi waddled in the hospital with her heavy winter jacket. Ash right behind her. The little lady didn't like be carried with the jacket on.

"we're here to see the Johnsons" Ash told a nurse who chuckled softly at the waddling toddler.

"room 208 on the second floor"the nurse said as she pointed to the elevator," to your right"

"thank you" Ash said as she took Epi's hand and lead her to the elevator,"you excited Epi? You get to meet your baby brother today'

"super excited!" Epi said happily waving her free arm as they stepped in the elevator. Larry was waiting outside the hospital room. He hadn't seen his little girl in two days so he wanted a hug.

"Daddy!" Epi yelled letting go of Ash's hand once they left the elevator. The room not being far from it.

"hey princess!" Larry said as he swatted down and as she ran into his arm. He held her tightly and kissed her cheek," oh goodness daddy missed you!"

Epi giggled as Larry took her jacket off and spun her around. Ash rolled her eyes, of course Larry do this.

"mama and baby brother okay?" Epi asked as she was freed from the jacket.

"well see for yourself" Larry said before he opened the door to the hospital room. Sal looked up from the newborn sleeping on his chest to see Larry and epi. He smiled under his mask and gestured for them to be quiet.

"hey epi" sal said softly as Larry brought the toddler over," this is your little brother Mars. What do you think?"

"he looks like a potato" epi said as Larry snickered. Sal couldn't help but chuckle as well. It could have gone worse.

"well he's not a potato. I promise." Sal said as he kissed the baby's forehead,"and he'll look less like a potato as he gets older."

"Yeah princess he'll look less like a potato" Larry said as he kissed her cheek,"he can't do much so he's going to need more attention okay?"

"I still get attention too right?"

"of course baby girl" Sal said as he carefully shifted so he cot rub her cheek while holding Mars," I promise"

The Aftermath

Hitch was sleep against Mars in the van. The hospital had put him on something to help him rest without stress for the long ride home. Mars and Pine still couldn't believe Knockfell hospital transfer him. Then again it wasn't all for the injuries Hitch had. Knockfell hospital didn't fell they had the proper staff for a psych evaluation.

Mars gave Hitch a soft kiss on the forehead as Connor started driving out of the parking lot. Epi sitting in the front with him. For whatever reasons she was dating the gu.y Mars didn't understand it at all. What did she see in the smartass jock.

Pine who rarely should any act of affection was holding the closest of Hitch's hands. He'd decorated the bandages on both foreheads in multiple gentle kisses through out the hospital stay. Now he was just holding Hitch's hand.

"we love you so much" Mars said softly as he nuzzled Hitch. Pine kissed Hitch's cheek as he slept. The car ride was quiet at the beginning until Hitch's cellphone went off. Pine pulled it out of Hitch's bag which was be side him.

Mars was looking out the window as Hitch slept when Pine growled. Mars turned his head to Pine as he noticed the growl. Pine was tightly gripping Hitch's phone.

"Mars looked at this" Pine said as he handed Mars Hitch's phone. There a rather nasty text from someone that they both knew was on the football team with Connor.

[Still alive huh? You lose even when trying to die]

Mars pulled out his own phone in a rage and texted the number,[ You better hope to your FUCKING mother I don't FUCKING find you! Because you'll never play again if I do you son of a bitch. That's if I'm merciful and Pine doesn't get to you first.]

Connor wasn't playing attention behind him as he pulled up to a gas station. He was about to get out when Epi pointed out the two fuming boys. Connor rolled his eyes and sighed. Unaware to his team mate had even texted his twin.

"Okay what bit you two in the ass?" Connor asked in a grumpy tone as he came to a stop next to the gas pump," We haven't said shit and Hitch is still asleep."

"look at the text one of your team members texted Hitch" Pine said as he handed Connor Hitch's phone. Connor rolled his eyes as he got took the phone and got out of the van. Epi looked back at her brother and Pine worried about how angry they looked. She'd never seen Mars and Pine so livid before. She looked outside to see Connor's expression.

"It wasn't a good text was it?" Epi asked softly as Mars shook his head no. Epi rubbed her shoulder timidly as Connor punched the side of the van. He was steaming as Epi shook a bit. She was surrounded by three strong and pissed off people. Epi knew none of them were mad at her but she was shaking. She hated confrontation.

Epi got out of the van with her purse. She nervously touched the jock's shoulder. Connor was taking a deep breath and exhaled.

"I'll go pay do-do you want anything?" Epi asked timidly as Connor gently took her hand in his now beginning to bruise right hand.

"Pain killers" Connor said as he held her hand for a moment. Connor kissed her hand softly before letting her go. Epi nodded as she walked to the gas station. She looked through the isles for some ibuprofen. She glanced outside to see Mars had gotten out of the van. Mars seemed to about have another confrontation with Connor. Epi sighed as she found what she was asked to get. She grabbed a few other things for the rest of the trip. She went and paid for the items and gas. Epi was afraid to walk outside as she watched the two yell at each other as Connor filled up the tank.

"HOW THE FUCK DID YOU NOT KNOW THOSE FUCKERS HAVE BEEN TORTURING HITCH?!"Mars yelled at Connor as Epi walked outside. Epi shivered holding the bag of supplies closely. She should have just asked Neil if she could borrow the van to drive Hitch home. She hated seeing the verbal battles the two would have.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK I HAVE A SIX SENSE FOR WHAT OTHER FOOTBALL PLAYERS DO WITH THEIR FREE TIME ASSHOLE?!" Connor yelled back as Epi made her way back to the van. Epi got between them before Mars could throw a angry punch.

"Please stop let's just get home okay? What happened is horrible but Connor knows now and he can prevent it okay?" Epi said as she tried to calm down them both down," We can't change the past."

Mars said nothing as he got back in the van. Still pissed but he seemed to be willing to listen for now. Epi hoped the rest of the drive be uneventful as she also got in the van. Her heart wasn't built this kind of tention.

It wasn't long before Connor decided to take action once they got back to Knockfell later that night. He knew the players behind that phone number. They talked about getting a single number to fuck around with book nerds. As Hitch was getting settled in at home with his partners staying the night Connor headed out. He texted in the football group chat that he wanted to meet up and hangout.

Of course the guilty party was more than willing to hangout. Connor also privately texted the coach with a screenshot of the texts Hitch had been receiving

None of those players were getting away with this shit. He nearly lost his brother and fuck if he was going to standby. He also told Pine where to find them before he left the house.

Reading about babies

This takes place in a version of Mars' Sally mask that involves the concept of alpha/ beta/ omega.)

It was a rainy day outside the house a small group of people lived in. Mars was sitting on the sofa somewhat cradled by his mate, a alpha known as Hitch. The two were reading a book on child care. As accidentally during the omega's last cycle Hitch had gotten the 21 year old pregnant. Of course, the alpha was very apologetic to his mate but that didn't change much of anything.

Mars wasn't very mad though, he was actually enjoying the experience. He was around 4 months along with a small little bump. He was excited for the baby's first feelable movements. Mars' also enjoyed the extra affection he'd been receiving.

Hitch though very sweet to Mars had never really been the affectionate type. He usually show his love through small presents or taking Mars out for dinner that sort of thing. Very similar to his unknowing dad Todd. Hitch shared a few behaviors with his beta parent. He kissed his mark on Mars' shoulder as Mars flipped the page in the book they were reading. Mars of course shivered slightly but kissed his mate's nose. Mars' mask being beside Hitch's hip.

The sound of the front door opening caught Mars' attention as Hitch had not only been more affectionate but over protective of the small omega. Even from the other omega in the house. Larry wasn't to offend by Hitch's over protective nature. He was kinda of too busy dealing with Sal's over protectiveness to care about nasty glares. Mars glanced at the front door where Larry and Sal were walking in.

The two were preparing for Larry's on coming heat with some excitement. Instead of Mars being a accident it seemed to wanted a baby this time. Mars sighed softly as he looked back book. Sal and Larry walking passed them with some snacks and energy drinks.

"Oh look at that" Mars said as he pointed out a fact he found interesting," I didn't know babies did that"

"Yeah it very interesting to know" Hitch said as he laid his head on Mars shoulder.

It was a Saturday afternoon as Sal was screaming his lungs out in pain. A guard name Randy holding his free hand as he screamed. He was doing his best to try not to but he could help it. This was very painful.

Of course he was kinda of surprised by the supportive guard. However, it wasn't his main focus. Was his baby okay? Was something wrong? He really couldn't focus on what any one was saying other the guard who kept saying," You got this okay? I'm sure it'll over soon."

Everything was hazy as he heard a soft cry. He looked up to see the doctor hand the baby to a nurse. The doctor then encouraged him to continue with pushing. What was going on? Was it after birth or- oh God why was Sal still in this much pain?

He looked at the guard with fearful confusion. Randy just tried to give him a reassuring smile and said,"Your almost done I promise. Everything's going to be fine"

A few minutes later another soft cry was heard as Sal panted. He glanced up to see another baby. Holy crap, he'd been expecting twins?!

Sal looked at the baby boy in bewilderment as Randy let go of his hand. The boy was wrapped and handed to him first. The baby had Larry's hair but Sal's skin and temperament it seemed. Just a sweet boy with a huge birthmark covering half his tiny face. Sal rubbed his cheek before Sal was handed the other baby. His little girl, she had his blue hair and light mix of him and Larry's skin tone. He'd noticed her swinging her tiny fists at the doctor and nurse before she was handed to him.

Two beautiful little babies in his arms, his little angels. Epilene and Mars, he wanted to kiss their tiny little foreheads but he didn't have a free hand to do so.

"I love you both so much" Sal said as few tears streamed down his good eye. He could hear the doctor over the phone.

"Mrs. Campbell there was a surprise baby can you handle twins?" The doctor asked over the phone as Mars started to cry softly.
