Enjoy the rich flavors of Marsala mushrooms combined with creamy goat cheese on a crispy flatbread crust. This flatbread pizza is a delightful twist on traditional pizza and makes for a perfect appetizer or quick dinner option.
Ingredients: 1 pre-made flatbread crust. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced. 1/4 cup Marsala wine. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1 cup goat cheese, crumbled. 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
Instructions: Turn on your oven and heat it up to 425F 220C. Put the olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat. It will take about 5 minutes of cooking after adding the mushrooms until they start to turn brown. Add the Marsala wine and cook for another two to three minutes, until most of the liquid is gone. Add salt and black pepper to the mushrooms. Place the ready-made pizza crust on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Cover the flatbread with the crumbled goat cheese. The Marsala mushrooms should be put on top of the goat cheese. After the oven is hot, bake the flatbread for 10 to 12 minutes, or until it is crispy and the toppings are golden and bubbly. Once the food is done, take it out of the oven and top it with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley. Cut it up and serve it hot.
