Winter scene of Marsh Mountain near McHenry and Deep Creek Lake. The photo shows the Wisp resort area with its 12 miles of ski slopes and trails. On the lower right is the base of Possum Way which is two miles long. The mountain elevation is 3080 feet with a vertical rise of 600 feet. Lift facilities include a 3270 foot double chairlift; a double T bar; a pomalift and two ropetows. The base facilities in the lower right of the photo include a lodge with cafeteria, ski shop, rental shop, the Bavarian Room lodge, The Village Inn which has 48 units, indoor heated swimming pool, conference rooms, sauna baths, handball courts.
