The 1982 World's Fair (May 1 - October 31, 1982) Knoxville, Tennessee. Spectacular nightly fireworks over this premier international exposition of the decade, highlight the U.S. Pavilion, Tennessee State Amphitheater, Republic of Korea Pavilion and Gas Energy Exhibit. This international event is the first fully sanctioned World's Fair ever held in the southeastern United States.
This fence which is located in the Old French Quarters at 915 Royal Street was made before the Civil War days. It is about fifty feet in length. It is very doubtful that a duplicate of this design was ever made.
Fort Nashborough Nashville, Tennessee
This replica of Fort Nashborough is a faithful reproduction of the original log fort built in 1780 on the banks of the Cumberland River. Built on the same site, the block houses and stockade appear as they did in the days when the Fort withstood the savage attacks of the Cherokees and Creeks.
