Housing? Check. Clothing? Check. Job? Check. Carina finally felt like she had everything she needed to start her new life. But before she went ahead to inquire about how to contact her family (of whom she still firmly believed was alive somewhere), Cara decided a solo tour of her new home was in order. The nice fae woman had shown her around a lot of the parts but now it was her turn to see what else she could discover in this new place.
Cara hadn’t expected to find an enormous... flat area, empty of people and filled with nothing but strange stones protruding from the ground. All the stones had names and numbers written on them. She was deciding perhaps the numbers meant dates as she looked up and down a particularly tall stone that had a large stone angel on the very top.
Something about it felt wrong. Sad. Before she could draw her depressing conclusion on what this all was, Cara caught sight of a man walking past. She mustered up a smile and waved over to him. “Good morning,” she called gently, walking over. “I’m sorry... I had a question about these... stones. Do you know what this place is?”
