The iconic @thewalnutroomchicago inside @macysstatestreet During Christmas this is the toughest reservation to secure. Generations of familes have been enjoying a meal under the famous big tree. I enjoyed "The Big Tree Buffet" complete with a prime rib carving station. The food and ambiance at this time of year is second to none. For years the animated windows at Marshall Field's and Carson, Pirie Scott drew thousands to downtown Chicago during the Chirstmas season. Marshall Fields is now @macys and Carsons is gone.
