ROUND 1, LEFT SIDE G:
Butter Pretzel x Cheesecake
Marshmallow x Macaron
Recently opened some more Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. These were Dark Side of Dimensions and Sisters of the Roses packs. These are some highlight cards.
Blue-Eyes White Dragon!
Slifer the Sky Dragon! He has a side job as an executive producer!
Kiwi Magician Girl! I want to put together a Magician Girl deck sometime. Headcanon: Just as the Dark Magician was Dark Magician Girl’s mentor, Dark Magician Girl went on to be a mentor for the other Magician Girls.
This one has a questionable design. On the other hand, the effect sounds useful defensively.
Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!
OK, the number of Blue-Eyes cards I’ve gotten from this pack is ridiculous. I do have Chaos Form, though, which is good for this card.
Me: That card is one mother—
You all: Shut your mouth!
Me: I’m just talking about Dig of Destiny.
You all: Then we can dig it!
Magical Contract Door sounds useful for when you have a spell card that’s useless for your opponent. On the other hand, unless you have a card that can force your opponent to discard cards, you’d power up any monster of your opponent’s that increases its attack for every card the owner has in their hand... hmm...
I finally was able to join a guild!! heres my first party they’re going on a double date
Also Marshmallow x Macaroon blease

Marshmacaron ———————————————— If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon up to 2 other "Marshmacaron" from your hand, Deck, and/or Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Marshmacaron" once per turn. ———————————————— Can Be Found In: Yu-Gi-OH! The Dark Side of Dimensions Movie Pack (MVP1-EN013), Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions Movie Pack Gold Edition (MVP1-ENG13)
Even with the weakest stats, some monsters can take the hit from destructive sources to provide powerful benefits to its user. Right from the very first years of the game, Flip Monsters will punish attackers during the Battle Phase, while other abilities will be triggered if destroyed in battle or card effect. The latter gained some prominence over the years, as many of those abilities provided searching or summoning abilities to either compensate the loss and keep the field pressence, or punish the opponent by letting us obtain key cards for our strategy.
"Marshmacaron" is a small monster with the incredible to create a loop by just using its effect. If "Marshmacaron" is destroyed by any source in return will let us summon two other copies from our hand, Deck, or Graveyard. The only condition is that this ability can only be used once per turn and copy, but under the proper management "Marshmacaron" can keep bringing its other copies from anywhere in the Duel to not only keep a resiliant defense but also keep providing materials for our bigger monsters.
With two of the three "Marshmacaron" being brought by the first to come on the field, all we need to do is to support one copy to gain its immediate pressence. The faster option comes from "One for One" summoning this monster directly straight from our Deck, and although requires to discard a card for its use we can use another "Marshmacaron" in our hand since might be revived by the one we just summoned afterwards. Monsters like "Shining Angel" and "Nova Summoner" takes a more defensive approach as they'll bring "Marshmacaron" once defeated in battle, while cards like "Sangan" and "Rai-Mei" will add it to our hand instead. "Marshmacaron" ability will activate if is destroyed by our own effects, so we can revive it by cards like "Call of the Haunted" and "Limit Reverse" in response of an opponent's removal effect. Otherwise, we can use any "Marshmacaron" in our Graveyard together with the revival effects of "Junk Synchron" and "Kinka-Byo" to work together as materials until being revived by its one of the other copies.
"Marshmacaron" can provide powerful benefits despite its weakling status and restricted ability. By summoning its other two copies, as long we can keep a copy ready until next turn we can constantly recycle each "Marshmacaron" for all kinds of purposes. That includes even if two "Marshmacaron" are destroyed together, as in return we can bring them back to the board in the same position and keep the defense. Cards like "The Dark Door" and "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" will assure the opponent is only able to defeat one "Marshmacaron" each turn as well stall them as long as possible, highly valuable while working along Burn effects or cards like "Final Countdown". If we can spare one "Marshmacaron" or we have several revival options to assure their return later on, they'll become valuable materials ranging from Link Summons to nomi creatures such as "Dystopia the Despondent" or the Meklord Emperors. Otherwise it will become the main source for all sorts of effects, like "Court of Justice" allowing us to Special Summon any Fairy in our hand each turn, or drawing with "Supply Squad" each time a "Marshmacaron" is defeated. Remember that "Marshmacaron" will trigger if we are the ones destroying it, so if we have a copy alone and cards like "Dark Hole" or "Black Rose Dragon" ready to use we can obtain two "Marshmacaron" for any uses afterwards.
Although clearly unable to win any fights unless with very specific supporting cards, "Marshmacaron" can go from an unlimited source for all kinds of setups to an unstoppable defense. Don't be fooled by its poor stats and restricted effect, as "Marshmacaron" can easily keep bringing its other copies right from early game to annoy the opponent and/or become materials of summons and effects. Obviously is not difficult to take down, and if the opponent brings a big group of monsters or an effect to sweep the board they can easily defeat all its copies in a single turn and never come back. However, with many revival and stalling tools under its assistance, "Marshmacaron" can pretty much create a Deck of its own covering all sorts of big summons and effects while making the opponent unable to deal any damage towards us.
Personal Rating: B+
+ Summons its other two copies when destroyed + Greatly supported for all kinds of summons and goals
- Very poor stats - The opponent can easily go arround its ability
