yes, they absolutely would. like, i mentioned this in the tags, but tech companies already tried this. google glass was absolutely supposed to be the next big thing, but it turns out people just don’t like having to wear stupid shit on their heads every day for the sake of ‘tech’. they will if it serves a direct purpose that is easier than previous /othermethods (such as sunglasses - wearing sunglasses is much easier than constantly shielding your eyes from the sun with your hand). but there is literally no need for this, there is no clear purpose for why you’d ever even need these.

that’s why google glass failed. and that’s why whatever this stupid ‘alexa on your face’ thing will fail as well.

the only teeny tiny leg up i can see the alexa glasses having on google glass is that there’s no camera - that was a big thing people hated about google glass, the constant surveillance (people were actually being kicked out of bars for wearing them, because people don’t like to be randomly filmed by others). but alexa glasses aren’t that much better, because they still have audio recording devices on them so they can respond to your prompts. but, just like the alexa in people’s houses, that means it has to be constantly listening, and will likely be recording you, and anyone else around you, as well, at all times. people probably won’t like that in the same way they didn’t like the google glass camera.

but yeah, at the end of the day, people just don’t like to wear stupid, annoying bullshit on their heads, especially if it has no clear purpose.

not like, with rings or anything of the sort. but in as much as an angel and a demon who are trying to stop Armageddon and who love each other more than the universe itself can be married, they are.

good omens is a love story and crowley and aziraphale love each other (per the creator too). it’s interesting, because in the book, they behave more like a old married couple. in the show, they’re more like a couple who is full of desperation and yearning because their life together is verboten.

give it a read or a watch if you haven’t already. you’ll enjoy it. :)
