Wow! Y’all really like my first impressions, huh? I really do appreciate the interest but I don’t think my experiences are all THAT interesting. I won’t mind answering these but I don’t think i can handle being asked about all the characters in HK again, theres just so many!!

While I’m not so sure about “secrets” or mysteries, I do have a couple of interesting facts or tidbits built up from writing the story overtime! But I think of all of them, the most most interesting fact I have is...

If anything scared you in Hollow Knight, what was it? A place, enemy, boss, ect. Anything. #Marshmallowtalk

I’m personally not bothered by the bugs of Hallownest, the dark passageways, or the squirming noises coming from Deepnest or the hum of the Hive. Ari Gibson’s art style is too cute for me to fear, so really all that’s left to freighten the heck out of me is sudden movements on screen or... in this case, teleporting enemies! Exploring Soul Sanctum kinda sucked, but coming back to fight the Tyrant? That last phase really caught me off guard! :DDD

You've got the #/monochrome on all of your pages (that I can remember). Does that imply there is a time it wouldn't be monochrome? Am I just jumping to conclusions here? #Marshmallowtalk

I started this story in monochrome to combat the fact that my attention span had gotten so short over the years and to give myself the breathing room to update much faster! You might recall from an earlier ask about how I prioritized speed over everything else XD excluding color goes hand in hand with that.

Though this doesn’t mean i won’t indulge in colors from time to time as well~

sorry i have another question ;_; what program do you use for art? the textures look like paint tool sai #marshmallowtalk

SAI was my go-to program for years before I moved to medibang. They both work rather similarly though Medibang eventually won me out personally as it featured tools that my version of SAI did not have, like a text tool and a whole variety of rulers!

How did you come up with your mod vessel ? The one without horns ? #Marshmallowtalk

Marshmallow’s design came first and eventually I got around to developing some of their background as well! The whereabouts of Marshmallow’s horns or if they even had them in the first place continues to be a mystery~!
