Jus wanted to drop by and say.Your art is amazing!Im a huge fan of your BOTWOT Comic adaption and could I ask,how do you do accurate shading?Your lighting in the comic was very nice and I was wondering how to do it?
-I’ve sort of used muscle memory from when I did life drawing classes back in the day. I try to imagine where the light is coming from and where it isnt gonna hit. Also if its a really dramatic scene use more shading if its just two people talking casually then probably keep it to just the neck and eyelids and whatever needs attention.
-It helps to not shade too much in a daytime setting. It makes the characters look a bit unnatural and sets to tone to be dramatic.
Heres some nice ref from Moni158: Try to think of a person as a collection of shapes and how those shapes would be shaded individually
Unlocked-Stock’s ref here shows that if you learn the planes of a face then shading is like 100 easier
however if you do cartoony stuff like I do then you dont really need to learn planes anyway because every face is a sphere!
Little random tid bit: Try to think about the tone a lot! If its a silly comic then you might not even need to shade because of how casual the styling is! If its a fight scene try really heavy shading and if its...say... . .a skeleton turning into a giant monster then try to think where the.... ya know giant glowing eye is hitting in the picture and then use intense shading all around! It all sort of comes down to day/night and color theory too but practice around with different scenes and poses and you’ll get the hang of it!
Bandit?
my brain went to both the Neko Atsume cat and to Unknown. So I combined them.
He just takes the toys and sells them back for double price. or something
*knocks on door*I love you
I CAME BACK FROM SCHOOL JUST NOW AND WAS GREETED BY 37 MESSAGES AND THIS IS THE FIRST ONE I’M READING

marsthefandomchild reblogged your post my D3 character. Alain. :3 and added:
You made me tempted to draw Alain in that suit of armor
How would you. Too much spikes.
What if an Undertale OC switches the soul color to an already existing one (Blue,Green,Purple, ect)?
Afufufu i dont thunk tbis is a good idea darlin~
Its a awfully tacky idea

Good jog on 600 Followers,Leo!We will look forward to more amazing art from you ^^
Thank you so much!
I just rename a few of my cats based on their personality. If their personality matches a certain character,I use it.But there are 2 cats which I named after my cat and another as a character because idk I got bored.
That’s nice! It’s fun to give the cats names that mean something to you
