I been thinking recently and i got promoted at work so i am celebrating and been chatting with friends.
But bro, for Sephiroth the biggest impact it was always Glenn we know this now.

It wasn't Angeal, he was a close friend, he put his honor first. I Feel he disregarded other people feelings too. Zack was struggling too, he killed his sensei and he put soo much pressure on him too. But honor first I guess...
Genesis was always jealous of Sephiroth, he saw him as a hero but got jealous it was always the case..even if it was hidden feeling at first. He alwasy saw him as first class soldier to look up to.
Yet Glenn, he saw sephiroth as a child and then hero, he went back to him after what happened. Sephiroth didnt had a choice, Glenn doesnt know that so he asked him to do good. And Sephiroth did good. Because he believed in him.
Thats why Sephiroth is basically hunting Rufus for what he had done.
Glenn was the closest person he had. Glenn made him grow. And Glenn was pure. So was Matt and Lucia. They saw him nothing but a child. Grumpy one that is.
