Amanda & Martin ♥
The Court of Kayumars by Sulṭān Muḥammad
Martin Freeman on shooting Mary's death scene.
Do you ever watch that Johnlock scene in TLD and cry? Not because of the hug (well not entirely). Because of the John and Mary scene. Him telling her he cheated and her smiling through it?? It was around about the time Martanda split up. I feel like it's both Mary&John and Martanda at the same time 😭😭😭
I’m so mad at the Daily Mail right now.
Can we talk about how we got from this...
“I’m not with Amanda any more,” he whispers about the partner/possible wife/possible ex-wife who he met in 2001, and with whom he has two children. “It’s very, very amicable — I’ll always love Amanda.” Later, I ask if success has made him happier. “To a certain extent, yes,” he says. “Not as much as it might have done, and not as much as maybe I would have hoped it had.” It comes across as a tender admission.
... to this?
When pushed further on whether he thought his huge success in recent years on films such as The Hobbit played a part in the break up, he replied: 'To a certain extent, yes. Not as much as it might have done, and not as much as maybe I would have hoped it had.'
Because I’m sorry, but those are two completely different questions.
In the hands of love, we carry on Stronger than we started. [x]
