In Their Hands We Are Like Children. 2021

Been wanting to make this one for a while and the recent news about or data use was the push I needed.

Instagram has helped me to reach to all of you and to discover so many amazing artists and I love that. On the other side I have been freaking out about the control these apps have over us and I have wished to be free from all of them.

These days is hard to find balance and discern from what is real and what is not, what is our real nature or our true desires and what is everyday externally imposed to us without even noticing.

In these moments when we are craving freedom and to be connected these tools can give us a sense of togetherness but very much a sense of a distorted reality.

Have you been also feeling confused about your relation with technology? I know it can feel uncomfortable or pointless sometimes to speak about it but I believe it is the best way to become more concious of our relation to it.

Couldn't decide which one of the two pictures would be the final version, i liked the first picture for its clarity but the swirls in the second picture really bring in the sense of confusion and movement.
