You can enjoy the tastes of pizza in bite-sized pieces with these Pepperoni and Cheese Pizza Crescent Bites. It's great for parties or as a snack.
Ingredients: 1 package crescent roll dough. 1/2 cup marinara sauce. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional. 1 egg, beaten for egg wash. Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 375F 190C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Spread a spoonful of marinara sauce onto each crescent roll triangle. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. Place pepperoni slices on each triangle. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes if desired over the toppings. Roll up each crescent roll, starting from the wide end, and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with beaten egg to give them a golden color. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent bites are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve these Pepperoni and Cheese Pizza Crescent Bites as a delightful appetizer or snack!
