missy waking up on the cyberman ship and being like literally ALL i want to do now is kill my past self again, and then she regenerates into martha and is like. ah.

so yeah that means she has to travel with ten, but a) if she has to hang around him as he mopes over rose & gallifrey she WILL kill him so she uses a chameleon arc so she can just skip until tytnw, and then doesn't wake up until like 3 years after it fdskjlsda w h o o p s

and okay so like

so it’s like idk post torchwood s2 (but pre coe bc i love ianto) and martha finds a fobwatch in the archives (that apparently the doctor gave to unit who then passed it to torchwood some 30 odd years ago as per the doc’s instructions) and she can HEAR it and her and jack know what that means but they can’t destroy it and she can’t stop trying to open it and one day she succeeds

and jack hopes that she’ll be anyone else but he knows it’s the master as soon as she collapses and starts to laugh and it’s only mickey stepping in front of him (bc he doesn’t really know whats going on but it’s martha okay) that stops him from shooting her and it’s then that he realises that shes crying while laughing

bc like jack is martha’s FRIEND okay and now missy has memories of loving him and being loved by him and also killing him repeatedly over the course of a year and also this is post vault so she feels guilt now??? half of her has ONLY just started noticing morality and the other half took the goddamn hippocratic oath so like! lot of self hatred there!!
