Guys I don't think it was racism.... every time the 9-11 got a call from Zimmerman, he didn't even mention race until they asked him and that is protocol they are required to do that. Sorry, the prosecution didn't have much to go by. I understand that bit about how it is kind of unfair bout the whole "he should at least get time for manslaughter". I kind of understand that, but he was doing it out of self defense. I'm sorry I don't want to start crap but hopefully Tumblr is the one place people wont bash my opinions.
Zimmerman case and the racial background.
Those that keep saying that Zimmerman is Hispanic are ignoring the fact that he is bi-racial. His father is white, his mother is from Peru. Regardless of this fact, if he was 100% white, Hispanic, black or whatever (folks want to pick and choose what race he is), he KILLED an unarmed teenager. He profiled and followed a kid that was ASSUMED to be up to no good, and confronted him after been told by police to STAY IN HIS CAR. If he got he got beaten up by Martin, than he brought that upon himself because Martin was defending himself from a stranger that was NOT a uniformed police officer. Really people, Zimmerman placed himself in harm's way by instigating a confrontation when the kid was walking home. He was looking for trouble, and when he didn't have the advantage, he shoot an UNARMED minor. People, regardless of how Martin looked, and yes that are some black folks that may avoid a teenager in a hoodie walking down the street. Media has a way to portraying the image of teenagers being synonymous with delinquency but that is never an excuse to follow and harass them into a confrontation. That is what Zimmerman did, did not matter what racial background Zimmerman is from (stop the damn "he's Hispanic not white!" He's both, if you want specifics) the fact of the matter his thought process and attitude towards a lone teenage boy in a hoodie and the need to inflate his ego by ignoring the police orders to stay in his car.

First of all, the tribal councils of many Native tribes often don't distribute the money they get (like say from casinos) the way said money perhaps should be. That's not my problem. But telling me what movie to go see because your council accepted the money from Disney? Back off. If I want to see Helena Bonham Carter or Depp or Arne in a movie, I'm going to, regardless of who made it. 2) I don't want to see Pacific Rim. I don't care who's in it or who made it. 2b) At some point in time, people of color will outnumber whites in most states. At that point, does a white woman get to cry racism or sexism if they get bullied by a man of color?
3) When is the head of WikiLeaks going to learn that every time he opens his mouth or does things, he just gets himself in trouble? (You would think the idiot would learn.) 4) I hope Russia has changed its mind about hosting that traitor. (And anybody comparing hackers who bring down sites like the Westboro Baptist Church to Snowden needs to stay far away from me.) 5) Egypt's going to have some serious issues come Wednesday/Thursday. That's a major deadline looming. 6) The GOP leadership (and whoever else dared to sign that pledge) need to resign ASAP. Like right this minute. How dare you do something like that and claim you're representing the people who elected you? You pathetic, lying, power-hungry scumbags. 7) Texas Governor Rick Perry needs to be shut down, and shut down quickly. How could someone be that obtuse as to ignore that many strong voices? And finally - 8) I hope Zimmerman burns. That man did something horrific and represents racism at its worst. That jury should be able to see through every lie he says and convict him of the highest charge offered.
[If you have a problem with how your council deals with their finances, try to do something about it. But don't post on my dash about how you don't want me to go see a movie. Disney already paid your various councils - seeing it isn't going to make any difference.]
Zimmerman was released after posting bail.
What is going on with the Florida's justice system? Seriously?
Also, what kind of apology is this:
“I wanted to say I am sorry for the loss of your son,” he said in a soft voice. “I did not know how old he was. I thought he was a little bit younger than I am. And I did not know if he was armed or not.”
In other words, so if your son was 7 years older, I would have still shot him.
He still racially stereotyped the victim, and not in a common way. Like when white people lock their doors in shady neighborhoods. He went after this kid with a gun!
The Martin's family lawyer thinks it's a load of shit also:
