tbh the episode was written by the dreadful buck leming duo and naturally EVERYTHING was horrible lol they made mary say everything was her fault lol i hate them.

it all made sense when i saw that. not that i trust anyone on the writing team.

and the thing is, i understand mary having issues with the part she played in the course their lives took and even blaming herself on some level. but it’s not something i ever wanted to see handled with the complete lack of care and complexity it was handled with. it was never going to be perfect but couldn’t they at least save it for next week?

ashgjfshdfhksh i feel so robbed and nauseated. and it’s hard to shake the feeling that they’re preparing her to sacrifice herself for sam so she can finally make up for “ruining his life”.
