Oh, that was a voice he would never forget.
It doesn’t take long for Fou to realize just who was trying to be friendly in greeting him, for this voice was one he was too familiar with and one that he absolutely hated– which for the small familiar was quite a feat in his current form. The creature doesn’t even bother to speak to him, or respond to him in a friendly manner like he would the other servants and masters of Chaldea, but instead Fou has something better in mind.
Fou wastes no time in rushing toward the male as if it was a long-awaited reunion, but as soon as he came close to the caster, he would launch himself at Merlin…

….and subsequently sink his teeth into the man’s flesh. His bite was far from gentle, and more of a ‘Why are you here?!’ response to his sudden appearance. What was Merlin doing acting so casually around him?!

Why talk about his self-hatred when he could stab Shirou in the throat any time the kid speaks? Jeez, this brat’s embarrassing, all uppity and annoying. Archer would wonder if they’re really the same person, but unfortunately that attitude is a little too familiar.
It’s somehow worse when it’s his own irritated tone of voice used against him. Archer inhales deeply, pinches the bridge of his nose, and does his best to resist the urge to snap his teen self’s stupid little neck.
Brief pause. Archer drops his hand back to his side. “As always, Shirou, your observations are not only witty and accurate, but requested and in any way sought after. Thank you so much.” Insightful indeed. Excuse Archer as he proceeds to ignore all critique and pretend Shirou Emiya does not and has never existed.

Understandable. Even Alter feels like he has not yet reached the apex of his own idiocy, and he’s the one currently trying to disassemble himself at the very level of his origin. Shirou probably should avoid this level of stupidity, but nonetheless, it is an option. Just in case.
“Rest assured, you still have a long way to go.” There are new and still discoverable levels of bad choices. “Try to avoid my type of stupidity.” Just in case Shirou hadn’t figured that out yet.

Although the “sword” she held wasn’t as strong as steel, it was tougher than any branch. It wasn’t like the twig she’d first picked up off the ground. She’d managed to reinforce it enough that it might be able to break a bone, if she could even land a hit on Shirou-senpai. He’d even gotten the branch to look like a sword! How cool!
It didn’t deter her the very least. No. She was more than pumped now, excited to show off what (little) skills she got, wanting to show, that, at least, she was starting to get the hang of this compared to when they’d first started.
“Here I come!” She called out running towards him with a forward strike.
