How and why did you create Hugo?

hugo was originally supposed to be a minor background character until i started writing chapter 25 and decided reg was going to be a ravenclaw (yeah i literally didn't know until i had narcissa looking at him that he was in ravenclaw... go me i'm so great at writing *eye roll*).

i had already decided noah was going to be a ravenclaw, so it kind of fell into place: those 3 being the only boys sorted into ravenclaw that year. it forced me to dive into their characters and really flesh them out into actual people with histories and emotions and likes and dislikes.

and now he's my favorite ever so thank god i did that.
