XME AU Canon Bits: Avalanche

Full name is Lance Dominic Alvarez. "Alvers" is from white people not bothering to learn to pronounce his name right.

He's half-Greek and half-Mexican.

He develops new powers while at Massachusetts Academy, not all of them due to his x-gene.

(He's got other heritage to develop powers from.)

He's a Computer Science major in college. He's 18 when he enrolls, so he's one of the few members of The Brotherhood not skipping high school to go to college.

His growth spurt puts him at 6'6" and very muscular.

He meets his maternal uncle, Dominikos Petrakis, in Boston and gets a job at his landscaping company.

(Lance's middle name came from his uncle.)

He also gets paid to fix potholes and uneven sidewalks around Boston.

He fixes his relationship with Kitty after she moves to Boston. He doesn't think he deserves the second chance, so he's not going to screw it up.

He's bisexual, but it rarely comes up because he's devoted to Kat.

XME AU Canon Bits: Shadowkat

Yes, it's spelled that way intentionally.

She starts going by Kat Pryde once she moves to Boston.

She is the first person Rogue tells about her conflict with Xavier, and leaves with her because of it.

She feels like the X-Men don't take her seriously at times, and was upset that they didn't care that The Brotherhood just up and left one day and never came back.

She and Lance work things out and are in a happy, healthy relationship.

She doesn't have a lot of artistic abilities, and is a bit insecure about it. She is, however, great at decorating and scrap booking.

She hits a small growth spurt and shoots up to 5'6". It's hard to tell next to Lance, though, because he hit his own growth spurt at the same time and is now taller than Scott.

(Only a little bit, but it's enough to annoy Scott.)

The growth spurt also caused her hair to develop a curly texture like her mom's.

She skips the rest of high school and goes to college for Computer Science and Astrophysics. She received scholarships to help pay her way.

She was a dancer until she was 13 when she decided to focus on academic pursuits. She resumes lessons when she moves to Boston and finds she hasn't lost her touch.

She's still terrible at driving and baking at first, but does steadily improve.

She's forgiven Jean for reading her mind when they first met, but she's secretly upset whenever Jean acts like reading someone else's mind without permission is something she wouldn't do.

After moving to Boston, she learns she can do more than just phase through things.
