Ribbown - Light Pokémon

Type - Fairy / Electric

Ability - Illuminate / Marvel Scale / Symbiosis (Hidden)

Evolves into Tinseel at level 28.

It will often wrap itself around a particularly colourful rock and live there. It may give the rock to a trusted Trainer as a gift.

Evolves into Ornaboros with a Thunder Stone.

In winter, it swims close to the surface, lighting up the water with its glowing fins. It has a symbiotic relationship with another deep-sea Pokémon.

Ornaboros - Wreath Pokémon

Type - Fairy / Electric

Ability - Dazzling / Marvel Scale / Symbiosis (Hidden)

It glows brightly when it’s content, inspiring cheer in others. However, deep in the ocean, it’s a vicious predator that uses its electrified jaws to snap up small Pokémon.

Inktober Day 9- Precious

Geckoal- Carbon Pokémon

Type- Dragon/Rock

Ability- Shed Skin/Rough Skin (Hidden)

Geckoal are very small and slow, and would fall victim to a multitude of predators were it not for the hard, coarse, black scales that cover their body. As these Pokémon age, though, they begin to wish for a more colourful body, and will rub their bodies up against cave walls to try to shed their black scales. Some people have tried to use their discarded scales as a fuel source.

Lizmuth- Shiny Pokémon

Type- Dragon/Rock

Ability- Marvel Scale/Multiscale (Hidden)

Evolves from Geckoal at level 30.

When a Geckoal sheds all its ebony scales, it evolves into Lizmuth, and grows a new coat of scales in all the colours of the rainbow. These Pokémon are full of life and form close bonds with others of their species, and will assist Geckoal in shedding and evolving. As they age, one of the colours that makes up their coat becomes more prominent than all the others.

Chromeleon- Shiny Pokémon

Type- Dragon/Rock

Ability- Iridescent

Evolves from Lizmuth when exposed to any evolutionary stone.

A Lizmuth that eventually settles on a single preferred colour will evolve into Chromeleon. More relaxed than their pre-evolution, Chromeleon tend to live solitary lives, but will not object to others encroaching on their space. Depending on their colour, they can exhibit certain elemental powers that other Chromeleon cannot match. For example, the specimen above is able to manipulate fire with greater skill than its peers.

Iridescent is the signature ability of Chromeleon. This ability powers up attacks of a certain type by 50% depending on Chromeleon’s form, which itself is dictated by which evolution stone you used to evolve it.

Riskard- Ace Pokémon

Type- Ghost

Ability- Levitate

Riskard congregate in groups of three or more, always with the same suit. Different suits tend to not get along with each other, and conflicts between them can cause a lot of collateral damage due to their sharp edges. People who own Riskard are generally more willing to gamble and take risks, though whether this is an effect of training the Pokémon is hard to say.

Dektout- Stacked Pokémon

Type- Ghost/Flying (Hearts), Ghost/Fighting (Clubs), Ghost/Dragon (Diamonds), Ghost/Psychic (Spades)

Ability- Super Luck/Soul-Heart (Hearts Hidden)/Intimidate (Clubs Hidden)/Marvel Scale (Diamonds Hidden)/Magic Guard (Spades Hidden)

Evolves from Riskard when exposed to a Dusk Stone (black suits) or a Dawn Stone (red suits).

Upon evolving, all the Riskard fuse into a single mind that forms the Dektout. Hearts Forms are usually quite relaxed, soaring high and keeping a careful eye on any intruders, while Clubs Forms are pugnacious and aggressive, tasked with forcing away foes. Diamonds Forms are secluded and keep young Riskard safe, and Spades Forms use their psychic powers to calm the squabbling children when they’re under attack. Unlike Riskard, the four forms work best as a team.
