Omg right? I hate it so much and hate seeing it in young girls but it’s this little rebellion and trying to be “different” and somehow that means not being “girly” and agh it’s so frustrating. Me too ugh there is not a bad shade of pink tbh

I don’t have NH yet, but I’m trying to come up with a town name and I’m absolutely struggling 😫

That was the biggest mood for me too. I know a lot of bloggers made name generators and word lists that helped them choose (which is usually my go to route as a writer because I’m usually terrible at coming up with that stuff on the fly. My New Leaf town: Aquarine came out of nowhere. Like: “what if you said aquarium, but made it more fancy.”) 

I named my island after the Anne of Green Gables series, where she lives in the fictitious community of Avonlea on Prince Edward Island. I love it, but I’ve also seen others who also chose the same name, which kind of frustrates me a little (but I knew what to expect). My other choice was Skallywag, after my first childhood dog. I guess my advice would be writing down some names you like and narrowing down a choice based on what you want the aesthetic of the island to be. I wanted mine to be cottagecore/country and that’s why Avonlea beat Skallywag.

That’s what I have to say on the matter, however, I also named my Wild World town Florida, so I wouldn’t trust my advice.
