A Hit Close to Home
Stephen Strange has seen everything. He has seen the beginning of time itself, and has seen the depths of Mephisto’s Realm. This wasn’t the first time Strange has seen destruction close to home, but the images he saw when he went past the makeshift field hospitals in Washington Square Park just blocks from his home, he could not get out of his head. Being a medical doctor by trade he wanted to help, but he knew he had a more pressing issue at hand. The damage was caused by magic and Strange knew that being the Sorcerer Supreme came with great responsibility. He also knew that he could possibly track the power responsible for the destruction.
The Sanctum Sanctorum was protected from the damage but the neighborhood was still hit as the destruction had covered an area from Times Square toward the Statue of Liberty. Strange was looking out the Seal of the Vishanti window and was about to meditate when he sensed a friendly presence approaching.
