Deshi tried to hold back from sticking his tongue out at his little sister. "I'm offended you think I can't even buy us food for the movies without getting in trouble." It wasn't like the last time was that bad. He only got a popcorn bowl over his head last time because he was teasing the woman behind the counter. They were still allowed back and that's all that mattered.

Nodding, he slid a water bottle towards Kira. He could tell that she’d been crying and was probably nearing dehydration status. “Do you wanna talk about it or should I call your dad?”

THIS WAS NOT HIS SCENE. That much was evident. When was the last time he picked up a comic book? He couldn’t name not one manga. What was manga and why was it different than comic books? Why should he care?

Oh, right, because this was Kira’s thing. She invited him and he was being nice by going. If you looked at the facts, she was being nice by inviting him. All he did all week was bitch and moan about how he was being benched because he took a hard hit during a game, fractured his tibia, and now was on a mandatory medical leave for three long, miserable months. What the hell was he supposed to do for three months? Go to Anime & Comics club apparently. 

It was a bitch and a half shuffling himself into the room on his crutches. Kira could help him, but she was too busy being greeted by literally everyone in the club. Perhaps this was the one place where she was popular and that’s why she liked it here so much. He tries not to look pitiful as he sets himself up in the corner and props his leg up on an adjacent chair, but when he’s the new kid, in a corner by himself who’s got a huge bulky cast and a pair of crutches, it’s hard not to.

Getting her ass nearly kicked moments before reunited with Kira has left her body battered, bruised and aching. It doesn't feel any better when Kira slams her body into hers, arms wrapping tightly around her neck. While she's beyond relieved to see Kira again, in her bone crushing grip, she's in excruciating pain. She bites back a yelp of pain and instead wraps stiff at around Kira's frame.

"I'm okay," She grits through her teeth, patting the other girl's back, "Really. I'm okay."
