in honor of marvus week, here are some headcanons for a few of the prompts! i won’t be able to participate every day so here is my compromise-
almost all in one babey
hobbies:
• I think marvus has hobbies other than just rapping and making music, but i imagine most of his hobbies are musical or at least creative-driven!
• He likes playing instruments such as (alternian versions of) piano and just keyboards in general. the thought of him with a guitar is cool too, but he strikes me as an all-or-nothing kinda guy and i think he’d rather excel at one instrument than be mediocre at several
• although tell me marvus playing riptide on ukulele isn’t hilarious to you. come on.
i also saw @grandmaster-xoloto has some thoughts about him making sandwiches and i’d unironically read a whole ass fic of just that. a sando boy. love that for him.
lusus:
• isn’t his lusus a land dolphin? dolphin with legs??? hm.
• he has a pretty close relationship with his dolphin dad, and is too embarrassed to admit it but he was quite clingy as a child. a trait he now insists he’s grown out of. obviously.
• his lusus really does mean a lot to him though and he always makes sure he’s ok when marvus is on long tours and stuff
behind closed doors:
• i imagine marvus would get tired of his performance act after a long night, regardless of his efforts to shrug it off, but showing his truly relaxed, guard-down side is a huge step of intimacy for him.
• he really is a cool guy, but not for the reasons his fans thinks. he genuinely cares about people and wants to make a change, it’s just slightly too far out of reach sometimes.
• not that he’s necessarily stand-off-ish or anything, it just takes a lot of time to get to a point where he lets anyone see him behind the grand doors of Marvus Xoloto, the brand
relationships:
• my personal number one fav is obviously Marvus/MSPA reader, preferably in which the reader is a human. no i’m not projecting shut up, so that’s what i’m gonna talk about >:)
• Marvus is hella red for the human, and they’ve got this red-pale chemistry he likes to call “kinky” (because it’s not normal to have a person in more than one quadrant) but they vibe with a multi-quadrant non-labeled relationship
• it is mostly red with a bit of pale though, and marvus had no idea how much he needed to vent to someone until they had an emotional cuddle pile for the first time
• he trusts them with his life, and if you ever betray that trust he’d be absolutely devastated. clowns really value their partners, and red partners specifically are considered a blessing, so while marvus doesn’t enter the church environment too often, he still stands by that mindset
