ngl, I always thought of "Everything has Changed" as thee destiel song bc "green eyes and freckles" and just all the longing and letting someone in and stuff. But I also hadn't fully heard the full Fearless album until today's re-release, so I feel you on it being THEE destiel swiftie album and fearless being their song. But like I also listen to a handful of her music on shuffle when I'm in a destiel mood so I'm biased on the taylor swift x destiel discourse.
okay so it’s not maybe THEE album but only because all of her albums are! i still believe in folklore supremacy here, the most destiel album of all destiel albums. but that is just my opinion based on the fact that it’s more mature album, the lyrics don’t have that “teenage” feel, and it just fits later seasons perfectly. fearless is for the beginning of their story and it makes me think about earlier seasons (in general). and you are right, “everything has changed” has... everything. literally. the whole red album is so... sad but also soft. not every song obviously, but the melody in almost every song is kind of nostalgic and melancholic and sad (it has these songs: ”sad, beautiful, tragic”, “the last time”, “treacherous” and even “begin again” is a little sad and has this feeling of uncertainty, like you can’t believe this is good and that this good thing is finally happening to you). and “everything has changed” is so soft and full of hope? i love every line here
