Ok so, when i was maybe 3 months younger, I had a dream where an organisation of dark magic or something made some kind of evil masks to harness the power of a dormant god. To make a mask, they needed to hurt a specific person (not kill, they needed the person alive to gather energy) a specific way, like for example, one guy had to get a 2 cm deep cut under his left eye, about 6 cm horizontally, another had to get their abdomen slashed, etc... and then the mask would be made, and they needed 12 masks iirc, and the people who were hunted ended up forming a group to protect each other and not cause the end of the world. HOWEVER, it didn't work out at all, cause one was a guy from the organization (NOT an impostor, they actually ran away from the organization cause they were hunted too and they would have had their legs cut off had they stayed), and another thought that if they needed everyone alive than they would happily kill another to-be-hurt to prevent that, so yeah there was major distrust and plenty of problems

I had to wake up so i never knew the end unfortunately ;-;

Also the hunteds didn't have to be human, there was a dog amongst them, it was called Dumy :) but yeah, i wrote that dream down when i woke up
