on sea and blood

rule number one of going into the sea is to have fun

rule number two is to be aware that you have less energy than you think swimming away from the shore is always an act of hubris and the sea gods don't take well to it

speaking of, rule number three. before you go into the sea, learn about local sea gods none of them like being ignored and even if you acknowledge them, they appreciate blood sacrifice

rule number four, if the dragonflies fly to the coast, follow them there's not too much to this, it's just really unwise to not trust dragonflies

rule number five, if something touches your leg underwater never look at it they're just curious and they do not appreciate people seeing them

rule number six is that you must always put on more sunscreen when you get out of water

this is a potentional letter in my VTM QSMP AU (so many letters, wowoow. by VTM, i mean Vampire: The Masquerade). it's a bit out there as I genuinelly cannot hold a thought that isn't about it rn (still didn't finish their dinner. it's 5am local time), but it's so much fun!!!

im for funsies writing a bit of poetry and got a bit stuck and decided to plan out where it is narratively going and...

i dont think im topping that. this is just notes but it? hits? for some reason? even if i wanted to include it in the poem, i cannot, which is honestly fucking tragic (it is haiku-esque and set in ancient greece? or maybe modern day countryside? either way, i cannot use it)
