The devious bugs make their presence known...

... Thus ruining my implementation.

Last post (27/09/2017), I commented having managed to create a link between the Story Scripter and the variables used by the game. All was good and perfect. The code compiled no problem! I hit the Play button to see my magnum opus working and...

Nothing. *sigh*

Long story short, all the code ended up being scrapped. :( One weak later, FINALLY, I managed to have a running implementation! YOOHOOO! *smacks bug*

Which means that development can now proceed! We're one step closer of having a prototype!

As a celebration, I'm posting a screenshot of the Story Scripter: an ugly, designless, confusing GUI used to implement Masada Sensei story into the game.

First tumblr post! So exciting!

Today is 27/09/2017.

Trails of Cold Steel III comes out tomorrow, but I’m already seeing people streaming it! Which raises the question, how come some companies forbid people from streaming their games while others happily let it be? If you bought a game shouldn’t you hold privelege on what to do with it?

Masada Sensei is coming along nicely. Today I manage to link the Story Scripter (the tool used to implement the story scripts played in-game) with the variables used by the game. It wasn’t the perfect solution but… It works great! …… I think I heard a laughing sound… must be those bugs…

《♬ー With the sky darkening, stars making themselves known and  the sun setting to prepare for the next day, the musician's shift slowly came to an end. Of course the cafe wasn't closing anytime soon just yet. It would stay open to the public for a few more hours which meant a relaxing atmosphere would arise as the chaotic day mellowed out. Hanging his apron he took a sip of his own coffee he had made himself before clocking out, he made his way to the back.  Lugging a bag out from the back he set it against the counter carefully, unzipping it he pulled out his most prized possession, his guitar. The instrument was black with white decor spiraling and swirling around it. He tuned the instrument and strummed to check the sound. Cringing at the sound he shook his head and continued to tune it. Strumming once more, he smiled, the sound it made was just perfect.   Why would he pull out a guitar after his shift has ended? Well. . .for those who weren't locals or regulars, they would ask such a question. And the answer to that was simply just because he loved to play for the customers. Of course he couldn't do so when on shift, he'd get in trouble no matter how many customers it brought in. So instead of getting fired, he just waited until his shift was done and he'd play for everyone. Sitting at his favorite spot in the cafe by one of the large windows, he took in his surroundings and took a breath, exhaling slowly.  Taking the pick that hung on a chain around his neck, he wrapped the chain around his fingers and held onto the pick itself. Propping the instrument upon his lap and holing onto it properly he thought for a moment, what song should he play? Should he sing? Should he just hum with each strum? Or should he just play?

    As a minute or two passed on by, he thought of the perfect song. It was one he hadn't played in forever. Positioning his hand to get the correct chords he started to strum. The soft, mellow melody slowly filling the room and soon reaching the ears of the ones who occupied tables around him. Slowly humming the the melody he couldn't help but smile. The feel of playing such a beautiful melody put him in a state of ecstasy almost.

 The raven sang with confidence, sure maybe the song had a deeper meaning in it and what not, but the melody was just magnificent. Calming some would say.ー》

like i could see that happening if people started enforcing breeding and good genes and all that bullshit but?? these people are talking like "no. this is going to happen. naturally."
