Mom,
This forest is so… creepy. We found a river, and it has dead things in it, they talk to me. I think I saw you. I hope you’re okay, I miss you dearly. Did you call my name? This place, I need to get out of here. There’s a Chimaera here, or was. We killed it, and Maseton, he wasn’t entirely here for this trip. Apparently his brother died by this beast, he needed revenge. I wonder if we can raise one. We found an egg, I’m sure we can keep it alive somehow. I don’t know, you were always better with animals than I was. I’m hopefully gonna come home soon.
