Achilles held the crow masked man's wrist, keeping him from running off. "It's like 10 minutes to midnight. Everyone will take off their masks. You ran away before. I'm not letting you go again."

The mystery man frowned and with the mask it was hard to read if he was regretful or angry. But when he spoke it was the regret that came through. "We had a nice night. Two nice nights. I need you to let me go."

Achilles shook his head. "I won't. I have to know who you are." His grip tightened slightly.

The stranger reached up to cup his cheek, even sliding the tips of his fingers under his mask. He whispered softly. "I need you to let me go."

Achilles bit his lip but released the man's wrist. "I'll find you. I know who your friends are. I swear I'll find you."

"Good luck." The man turned and hurried off, weaving through the crowd skillfully until he was gone. Achilles sighed and pressed the tips of his fingers to his lips. He'd find him. The man in the crow mask. He'd find him and never let him go again.

The stranger chuckled but it sounded sad. Before the blond could comment soft lips pressed to his own. Just for a moment. Not long enough.

"I'll find you." Achilles swore again

Hi I’m back. Umm, I kinda have three and a half… So basically Leafwing twins, Bloom and Dogwood. Both are 7 almost 8, Bloom being the older sister. She has lighter scales with sort of flower patterns on her body in dark green. Dogwood has more of a jade color, and he spends a LOT of time making them shiny and polished. Everyone knows he’s in a relationship with a hot sandwing named Sandstorm. Dogwood thinks it’s a secret and Sandstorm plays along but he knows everyone knows. Sandstorm is a slightly redish sand color that has been a recessive trait in his family forever. He’s very proud of it. Dogwood is funny and shy, but an absolute menace. He’s got a thing for bringing people down all the way to tears. Sandstorm loves being pretty, but he does it just for Dogwood. Sandstorm is a little freaky, popular, kind, and really sweet. He likes whatever makes Dogwood happy, no matter what that is. He is very morally flexible, because when Dogwood plans and escape for everybody, he plans to massacre anyone in their way; Sandstorm is all for it. Bloom is the mom friend especially since… well, a lot recently. Her fiancé was killed in an accident a week ago. A WEEK. She’s in pieces. Here’s where the dramatic irony kicks in: she’s pregnant. She doesn’t know yet. Her fiancé, a seawing named River, was super protective. He used to sing too, beautifully. He adored her and she misses he so much she cried nonstop for the first three days. They all escape (including Opal and Sun) after his death because they are scared of what they will be used for and whether they would survive. He used to have the bluest scales and the brightest bioluminescent droplet patterns all over his body. She is still broken and has yet to find out about the three gifts he left her who will pull her out of the dark.
