Honestly, I haven't seen anyone straight up say it so I'm going to.
Refusing to wear a mask is a moral failing. I don't care if you're fully vaccinated. There will always be someone who isn't, someone who is but still at risk, a new variant, etc etc. It's a simple piece of fabric. We know that it doesn't actually impair our ability to breathe. You just need to slap it on when entering stores and being around strangers, everything else is up to you and the people you're hanging out with.
Listen. If I get infected from some stranger because the stranger and I weren't wearing a mask, I might not know. I could be asymptomatic and still spreading it because I am an asshole who doesn't wear a mask. On the other hand, if you wear a mask in public but not with friends, a covid outbreak in your friend group will be much easier to track, sooner caught, and you can sooner self isolate to avoid infecting anyone.
It's not a particularly hard task. It doesn't have to be a statement, because it's simply a matter of public health.
Wear a fucking mask. Care about other people.
