What does Cadmus and Atticus masks look like and does the masks have any unique design?
Also does Trysten and Nyssa have their own mask too?
Cadmus's mask is simple, faceless, with a small, rounded droplet of water on the left cheek.
Atticus's mask is more ornate, with feathers inlaid around the eyes, a beautifully painted pair of succulent lips in white, and a green gem embedded in the forehead center.
Also, note that Nyssa/Nyala and Trysten/Trista do not wear masks, as this practice is unique to Cadmus and Atticus's culture, where mask-wearing is a mandatory tradition.

Thanks for the ask. 🫡
Double standard
Speaking of attitudes that seem to be more prevalent in northern Michigan ...
Based on my observations, Up North folks are much more likely to flout mask rules. Case in point:
Earlier this week I walked into an auto parts store in Cheboygan. Despite the fact that a sign at the entrance required customers to mask-up, the clerks weren’t wearing them.
In fairness, there were plexiglas shield at the registers, but they didn’t help when the clerks came out from behind the counters to show customers where to find what they wanted.
“Really?,” I said to one of them. “You require your customers to wear masks, but you don’t?”
“If it will make you feel better ...,” one of them said petulantly as he took a mask off the counter and started to put it on.
“It’s not a matter of making me feel better,” I replied. Then I turned toward the door and said, “Fine ... I’ll take my business elsewhere.”
“Have a good one, bud,” he said as I walked out of the store. I don’t think he meant it.
Amid the ongoing outbreak, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated its research around masks, saying that wearing one not only protects others but also the person wearing the mask. Previous guidance had rested on the idea that the main benefit of mask-wearing came from potentially stopping an infected person transmitting Covid to others. The CDC referenced several studies, including one case where two Covid-positive hair stylists interacted with 139 clients - but of the 67 clients researchers tested, none developed an infection. The stylists and all clients had worn masks in the salon. Another study looking into the outbreak aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier found mask-wearing seemed to have reduced the risk of virus transmission by 70%, the CDC said.

Big Boy and Big Baby
The Big Boy in Cheboygan is all masked up, even though the townsfolk - the business proprietors as well as their customers - seem more inclined to follow the example of the Big Baby in Chief.
Rumor has it that Trump actually wore a mask at a recent event, but complained that it made him look like the Lone Ranger.
Huh ...? Does he not realize that the original “Masked Man” wore it over his eyes, not over his nose and mouth?
Mask-wearing thieves target elderly man's home
Police are appealing for information after two mask-wearing men broke into an elderly man’s home in Paganhill, earlier this week. At around 2.30pm on Wednesday, August 24th, the males were seen trying to gain entry to the home through the front door, and then made their way around the side of the house. They smashed a rear window and entered the property, which is off Paganhill Road, while the…

Let The Snarky Snippets Roll!
I’ve always been a news junkie, I think since I learned to read at around age 5 or so, but I cannot remember a time that the news created as much angst as these last few years, and especially the last week or so! What to do with all that angst? Well, turn it into snarky snippets and share it with my friends, of course! 😏 Florida’s #1 Jerk Numerous states in this country have the misfortune to…

“I am disappointed because I expected better from my fellow Americans. I never thought most Americans would be governed by irrational fears and unquestioning obedience to authority. I have come to realize that I had a somewhat romanticized view of my countrymen.” “The problem is most Americans who went to college learned to unquestioningly obey ‘experts.’ This is why common sense, logic and reason mean little to the well-educated — and, increasingly, to everyone else, because everyone is taught by the well-educated. All we need to know is what the ‘experts’ say.”
