These are stunning and I’m indebted to @the-evil-biochemist for pointing them out: from top to bottom they are Immortal Acolyte, Mountain Master and Warrior Apprentice, and they really are very Stone Dance... you can find them, and much else, at MyPlasticHeart.com.
Masked Army
My mind just tried to nip the Dana Triumphant Return in the foot.
Dana's in the mirage dimension, yes? A Blinking Light Up on the Mountain explicitly called it a mirage, or something akin to it. That dimension is proven untouchable by the inhabitants of the universe Night Vale current is in. Communicatable, but untouchable. They pass right through them.
What if, when Dana and the army get there, they just pass right through everything? What if their battling is ineffectual?
But okay, maybe that's not the case. The Masked Army back then did have the solidity and wherewithall to step on the tour bus and go into local businesses...
Which leads to a whole new question: what if that WAS the army Dana brought? Is there any real distinction made between the Masked Army (growing to be quite large) and the Masked Warriors (of enormous size)?
Time is weird in Night Vale and pocket dimensions. And they did say they were passing through to attack someone else.
What if Dana brings the masked army to Night Vale, ep-31 era Night Vale, and not The Greater Desert Bluffs Metropolitan Area?!
can i just thank u mun for making her a poc? i dont see enough humanstuck fcs that are poc and its nice to see someone doing that for a change
[I figured I was going to get this at some point during this M!A. Sit right there Anon, my friend. I’m going to tell you a little bit about me and why I chose who and what I did for my Humanstuck! FC.
True: there are not many PoC FCs that I have seen either.
False: This means that they are being under-represented and neglected etc.
True: I chose a PoC FC for Mindfang
False: I chose her because she was PoC
True: The fact that Isabella is a PoC had absolutely no bearing on my choice for her as Mindfang’s FC
False: I do not care about PoC representation in art/lit./stage/screen/etc.
I chose Isabella to be Mindfang’s FC for one reason and one reason alone: They act like each other.
My version of Mindfang(Which, btw, I make no claims to be anywhere near canon with her. It is just how I see her) and Isabella act very very similar with their promiscuous ways and constant flirting with everyone close to them, and some that aren’t. Their selfishness and their self-loathing. Their love for the ocean, and all vessels that sail upon her. Their penchant for drinking, and; of course, their piracy.
Isabella being Rivaini and thus darker-skinned has no bearing on this whatsoever. Were I to give Mindfang an Earth-based FC she would probably be light-skinned and raven-haired. Simply because I put Mindfang as English, as that is where most of my knowledge of Pirates and the life they would have lived is based. Does this mean I do not like PoC FCs? Absolutely not.
What it does mean is that I really do not give a shit what their skin color is so long as the personalities mesh well. That’s it. There was no more to my choice than that.
Hate me if you will, but I do hope that you a least read all of this before you decide what to think of me.]
As I've come to understand you, you probably weren't thinking at all. And because of that you nearly got your first mate killed. Hell, the whole crew probably, if you hadn't have been swept overboard.
......
I know. I was a fool. And my stupidity nearly cost me my crew.
You don't need to remind me. Trust me, I'm doing enough on my own.

[Four, huh?
Being alone.
Losing Summoner
Not knowing what she's up against.
Being completely powerless.
