Venus began pacing around, looking for Miriam, in a hurry. Time was ticking by as Venus true Espeon form showed more and more with each passing minute. She eventually Madd her way outside, to avoid the many eyes that had looked her way inside.. Oh how embarrassed she felt.. Having to run out in such manner... Feeling rather sick to her stomach, Venus began shaking tremendously.. Until she eventually dropped the to ground. Luckily Miriam had caught her just in time before Venus hit the ground. Picking her back up, walking her near the main doors, and sitting her on a nearby chair.. Once Venus had adjusted properly herself, she shifted back into her Espeon form. Letting out a deep sigh afterwards.

"Thank you Miriam.. I don't know how much longer I would have been able to hold my human form.. "

"That's why I told you, that you should've just borrowed an illusion stone Chai. You don't really use your human form anymore, unlike me who basically is a human at this point.."

"I guess I just wanted to take another spin at it.. After all, I'm going to be human when I host the Souls Festival again.."

"Your still going to hold the Souls Festival?!"

"Yeah?? Why??"

"Well.. Venus... No one's ancestors really have showed up in the past few years, first of all... And second, no one in general really showed up last year.."

"I can just feel it in my bones though, Miriam! This year is going to be different I just know it! Plus I even convinced Omsmodeus and Moth to come as legendary guests of honor."

"Okay, I even admit that getting grouchy Ozzie and soul succking Moth to come it impressive.. But just don't get your hopes up.. Alright?"

"Alright," Venus had said as she shifted back into her human form.

As did Miriam. Miriam then held out her hand to Venus, who seemed a bit unstable still, as they rentered inside.

An unknown appears in front just inches away from the main doors... They appear to be Kyreum like with a bone structured mask, and their club like tail. Though their sharp black suite and red bowtie says otherwise..

"Hmm.. This should be place Miriam had mentioned.. I think? Oh, hopefully I don't look too out of place..."

It seems the masked stranger is a bit confused.. But available for asks...

Who Will Dance with You at the Starlight Ball

A Masked Stranger

In dark clothes and a full face mask, this stranger gives you an elegant bow and extends their hand. The dance is swift and leaves you breathless, and they are gone as suddenly as they appeared. When you wander away from the ball you run into them and hear a loud clatter as a sack falls onto the floor and spills its contents. In the low candlelight you can see the crown jewels glimmering as they pick them up and shove them back in the sack. They look at you, their expression unreadable behind the mask. They raise a finger in front of their mask and disappear back into the shadows, without a trace. Later that night, you find in your pocket an obsidian and gold bangle and a note thanking you for your silence.

After this ball, you will catch glimpses of them in the street, at other events, late in the night. One night, you will find them in your room, going through your possessions. still wearing a mask, their clothes the same as the ones from the ball, now ragged and worn. No signs of riches from the jewels they stole. They will playfully claim they did not know it was your house. They will then mention an ancient palace, full of traps, the vengeful spirits of the royal family that used to inhabit it, and immeasurable riches. They will offer you to come with them. You have never seen their face. Will you follow them into danger?

Uh. Without a second thought. Without a first one too, to be honest. Thoughts? No. Head empty, no thoughts. RACE you to that danger, Stranger.
