Two beings are ready for a ball/formal party XD

Well despite only do it for the Starlight /Fandom Ball, i share with you the clothes Abel and Flash would waering on something like that to all here. Even Flash might me Embaressed soon after(so that's 2 two pictures... for him, only Face Expression ;). I was may a little lazy for Abels pose and face... but we have GLITTER XD (Would they may looke like love pair? xD I dunno)

Isn't Flash a bit handsome? XD Well Abel sure know how they look, being in that moment more a woman, then a man ;) But hey Abel is genderfluid, so everything outfit could fit Abel or could wearing it because i can xD.

Then there is my cognitive dissonance in noting that the openly racist Donald Trump (check his history, and upcoming policies) being inaugurated on the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Day. A Federal holiday dedicated to a man who opposed racism, inequality, and supported civil rights, and it will be the second inaugural day for a man who, if judged by the content of his character, is a schmuck.

Who Will Dance with You at the Starlight Ball

A Masked Stranger

In dark clothes and a full face mask, this stranger gives you an elegant bow and extends their hand. The dance is swift and leaves you breathless, and they are gone as suddenly as they appeared. When you wander away from the ball you run into them and hear a loud clatter as a sack falls onto the floor and spills its contents. In the low candlelight you can see the crown jewels glimmering as they pick them up and shove them back in the sack. They look at you, their expression unreadable behind the mask. They raise a finger in front of their mask and disappear back into the shadows, without a trace. Later that night, you find in your pocket an obsidian and gold bangle and a note thanking you for your silence.

After this ball, you will catch glimpses of them in the street, at other events, late in the night. One night, you will find them in your room, going through your possessions. still wearing a mask, their clothes the same as the ones from the ball, now ragged and worn. No signs of riches from the jewels they stole. They will playfully claim they did not know it was your house. They will then mention an ancient palace, full of traps, the vengeful spirits of the royal family that used to inhabit it, and immeasurable riches. They will offer you to come with them. You have never seen their face. Will you follow them into danger?

Uh. Without a second thought. Without a first one too, to be honest. Thoughts? No. Head empty, no thoughts. RACE you to that danger, Stranger.

Who Will Dance with You at the Starlight Ball

No one...maybe?

The night passes in a flurry of music, conversation, and light, but you do not dance even once. You wander the halls, and the corridors and come back to the dance hall once all the revelers have left and the music has ended.

Motes of dust float in the air, shimmering in the first rays of sun after dawn. A faint tune rings in your ears, an ancient melody, a soft song in an unknown language that has not been sung for centuries.

Your feet seem to move of their own accord, and you dance and twirl to this ethereal song. A hand holds yours, incorporeal, soft, and warm as a summer breeze.

This presence, old a the palace itself, sings the song and leads you in a dance whose steps you do not know. When the morning sun pools into the room and blinds your eyes, the song will end and you will be left completely alone in the hall, now silent and cold as the grave. In your hand, you will find a thin golden key that was not there before. Will you come back and find what ancient door it opens?

Yes. Oh, yes. Nothing but yes.

Who will dance with you at the Starlight ball?

The Monarch

The crowds part and whispers fill the air when the monarch approaches you and bows their head, extending their hand. Their hair coils around the golden halo that crowns their head. Rings cover their every finger, and sparkle in the light when you take their hand, just as their warm, brown eyes. The music is slow, solemn. The dance steps stiff, lethargic, almost ritualistic. This is clearly an attempt to keep appearances and decorum, which ends in a polite bow and a look into your eyes that lingers for far too long. You will catch them looking at you several times during the ball, but with no time to approach you again. As the ball draws to a close, they will come to you one last time and press a kiss to the back of your hand. The next day, you will receive an invitation to come to the palace, and find them near the gardens, a flower in their hands. No finery, no crown, no jewelry, no guards, but the same look in their eyes. Will you accept a second dance, now that you are alone?

Wow, this is so fitting for Yume and G’raha, especially when thinking about when he was the Exarch and had to “keep up appearances” and all. And he kinda already is Allagan royalty, in a way anyway.

Any tumblr folks go to the Starlight ball in Montreal this last weekend?

Still am riding that high! The string quartet, the book/trinket exchange, the dancing, the venue! Don’t get me started on all the beautiful dresses and how nice everyone was!

Kitt nearly chokes on her sip of a sparkly, light blue tonic the moment she spies her beau. She just can not get over seeing how incredible Alexander looks right now!

Kitt had currently made her way to one of the tables along the walls of the ballroom. Looking over the sea of folks dancing and moving about in their various outfits, she reached over to large tiered platter that was piled with many types of finger sandwiches. There was also another plate that contained cookies shaped and decorated like moons and stars ... Dusted with sugar glitter. It had been a long night, and she was a little hungry.

Taking a small bite of her sandwich, the cat woman watched over the party scene to see if she could spot any faces she knew.
