A tilt of the head in confusion as he stared up at Link. Was he seeing some sort of trick? Was this some kind of older magic doppelganger or some random look-alike? He had entered Castle Town with his mother on official royal business... only to be separated from her when he went to go explore. He lost her in the crowd, and now he was all alone and slightly nervous. 

The animals seemed to like him, apparently. Especially the cats. He carefully picked up a small kitten that came over to him and felt it purring away in his arms. The whirring of the tiny kitten’s content purrs made him less nervous than before, and he petted its fluffy head with a soft smile. When he moved, the animals followed behind him.

It must have been a strange sight to see... A line of animals happily running after a child carrying a kitten, who was curiously flowing an adult. 

He had no idea if the other knew he was following behind or not, but his curiosity had gotten to the point where he was curious enough to follow this stranger.

      It’s a moment of respite for them both, and Epona likes these moments just as much as galloping across Hyrule Field. It’s Lake Hylia, rich in flora and fauna, and while her master sets up their small camp for the night before sundown, Epona stands with her front hooves in the water, drinking before she pauses to watch a few swimming fish schooling around the shallows.

            A school of these tiny things begin to gather around her hooves, nibbling at the dirt and grass stuck to her feathering. The sensation is odd, though, and she kicks, stamping into the water to chase them off.

                                     ... accidentally splashing her master in the process.

     “A little far from home, aren’t we?” the silverette muttered, passing the other a crimson glance from above. He was seated on a high branch, cleaning his blood-soiled blade.

He winced, holding his arm which was bleeding somewhat profusely. There was a gash where Casper had jumped in to defend a child from a raging beast. He had gotten the brunt of the beast’s fangs.

“M... M fine big brother. S’ just a scratch. I’ve been through much worse where I come from...”

Okay, but like older Twi is so precious. CAN I HUG HIM?? I DON'T CARE I'M JUST GONNA HUG HIM. But all of the yes to Twi with facial hair! That's just A+++ right there!

We just need to create a chart for every Link with their hair type and color because people mess it up so often to the point where it gets way to confusing. There's to many times where I look at fan art and it looks like Twi but then it's supposed to be Time, so I'm just? Cause as you said artistic freedom is great, but every Link is their own with unique features so for some artists to draw one when it's supposed to be the other just makes it all to confusing.

Honestly the chart thing is a great idea cuz this surprisingly happens so often it’s ridiculous

Each Link is unique in their own way with their own features, personalities, behaviors, and it’s just all being meshed into one and it’s so upsetting like pls stop

In all of Casper’s journies he never really got to see Hyrule in all of its glory. He was usually hiding in the dark woods or wandering with a cloak on to keep himself safe. Not like he wanted to look shady, but people would get the wrong idea if he walked around normally. He had already gotten kicked out of the quiet town of Ordon because they were afraid of him. He didn’t want the residents of Castle Town to do the same. 

Currently he was wandering around with his cloak on, browsing the stalls and looking at all the goods. He was so nervous being in such a large crowd. Fortunately and unfortunately he gave off an aura that made any thief want to run in terror. 

The aura of dark magic. The very essence that he was made up of was also the thing that he hated most about himself. Not many could approach without looking at him with fear in their eyes or just running away if he approached them. 

That is... Until he saw one of the heroes that the shades were always talking about. The Feral hero.. He was a bit envious that he could mingle in the light without repercussion, but decided not to say hello. It would most likely end in his death.

So the child sighed, and began to move on. Meeting one of the light heroes wasn’t going to happen anyways. Curse this shyness!

“Best be heading back to the woods... Before anyone notices me...”
