It’s been a good year or so ever since COVID 19 was declared a pandemic. Businesses closing left to right, hospitals holding less and less vacancy, and deaths increasing. With vaccines released and COVID seeming to give off a less severe impact in our lives now, people have wondered whether to keep the masks on or stuff them away in their closets. This will be my take on the situation.
Masks have been a great help with containing the virus. Able to slow the spread and keep everyone safe. Relying on those face coverings and suddenly removing them doesn’t sit right with me. Maybe it’s because I’m still worried about getting the virus since there have been cases of new variants and the vaccine’s effectiveness. There have been people still getting COVID even being vaccinated. Though the symptoms have been toned down, and many survive. This doesn't mean avoid getting vaccinated. If you want to get back to that ordinary lifestyle, get vaccinated! It brings down the risk of the virus spreading. Honestly, it may not be perfect, but it's the best thing we have. Now, I’m not saying if you have already been maskless since you’ve been vaccinated is terrible; it’s just a bit of a risk.
The risk is either you are around vaccinated people or not. This risk increases if you are maskless in a building with people you don’t know. There are still many people out there who haven’t been vaccinated, even though they can be. If you want to lower that risk but still roam mask-free, still follow the six-foot rule. Maybe even three feet at the closest. Of course, this is all my opinion from the whole “masks or no masks” situation, but I feel that people should still be cautious as they roam around without a mask. We aren’t back to that mundane lifestyle yet. If we all just walked out maskless, with no social distancing, things can get back to how they were before. We’re doing quite well, and I’m confident no one wants to go back to being locked in our homes all day.
Overall, if you are vaccinated and feel like you don’t need to wear a mask, that’s fine! If you want to keep the mask, that’s all right as well. Some people are still dubious roaming around without masks (like me), and others zeal for moments to be free from it. Let’s just be careful walking around without masks because we aren’t exactly done with covid yet.

Me *Thinking they woke up and can't go back to sleep*: What?
Partner: Everytime I grab the mask and scream at it, I wake up in a different dream. *some silence* I just want to headbutt it. It's not fair how come it gets to headbutt me, but I can't headbutt it.
If I could give any advice to anyone, it's that the less vulnerable and real you are, the more you can shape someone's perspective to see you and accept you, and raw honesty is not a good chance to take if the stakes are high, unless it's to do with love or art.
Histrionic by Kikuo gives such aggressive Dimentio vibes, partially because I have my phone's font set to Hey Gorgeous-
