I got a bit bored, so I replayed Majora's mask for a bit. After a while, I started thinking about anons and what kind of mask they would have. So behold, the Anonymask~! If you can find a better name for it, I'll be eternally grateful. I tried to think of something having to do with Greyface, since that's what everyone seems to call them, but I just wasn't creative enough. I guess I could've just called it Greyface, but that'd be so lame!
Anyhoo, so based on the ability of Magic Anons, the Anonymask will grant the wearer the ability to place a temporary spell on someone. Sometimes, the spell won't work, this is the power of the mun declining the anon. When wearing the mask, the person is garbed in a cloak of grey, and all of their features are concealed. Because their real eyes are now covered, the anons are rendered blind in terms of vision. Instead, they see with their mind. They can only see what their perspective would allow them to see. So, say somebody doesn't like someone and dons the mask. That's where anon hate comes from. They become blind to the fact that their scornful words will have consequences, and they say whatever they can to hurt that person.
So, let's say someone full of positive feelings towards someone. They forget about that person's flaws and do their best to make that person see them how they're currently seeing them- Perfect. Most of the time, people will put the mask on and do this when they see someone they like feeling sad, though some people will put it on and send nice things to the people they like just to remind them that someone out there thinks that they're perfect.
I know you guys can't see it, but the light grey on the Anonymask glows. Just thought I'd add that here~
Whelp, that's about it for the Anonymask. It's actually my first time drawing a mask that's not on a person, haha~
