After reading Audrey's message on his screen, and then finding out her page was removed by the O'Hare Administration, the young black haired man started to panic. That could definitely not be good.
Stumbling out of his desk chair, he hopped on one leg to his nightstand where his mobile phone rested, before dialing Audrey's phone number. He placed the phone against his ear and waited. It rang, and rang and rang...
He hung up and called again.
He stopped trying to call and instead sent her a text.
'Audrey, where are you? Call me ASAP.'
After a few minutes, and receiving no answer, he called again. This time, his answer was a recording:
'I'm sorry. The line you've tried to reach has been disconnected...'
Jared paled visibly. He hung up his phone before dialing one of his friends. He couldn't call Ted because wherever he was he had no signal. Maybe Jim knew where she was. He dialed his number and waited for an answer.
"Jim! Have you seen Audrey?"
"Did you see what she posted online?"
"No... I haven't been on these past few days. What's going on man, you sound panicked."
"No its... look, if you see her, call me alright?"
"Yeah sure, but is everything okay?"
Jared hesitated. Should he tell him? "Yeah, everything's fine. I just really need to talk to her alright?"
"Okay... if you say so. I'll keep my eyes open."
"Thanks," he said, before he hung up and ran a hand through his hair.
What the fuck was going on and what in the world was he going to do now?
