The aftermath of Juju House is actually so wild. IR's CoC liveblogging in 2025? Noooo, surely not.
Rewatching Loose Ends (CoC Masks) and I absolutely love the way Sybil Cordova is just being Sybil Cordova and absolutely just bagging every artifact she can find. Absolutely just stuff it in her furcoat despite ir being potential evidence lmfao
The hilarity of Sunil and Sybil and Mason's strength needed to open the well. The horror inside the well ?? The way Sybil looks it in the face and her first thought is "WOW this is AMAZING and WONDERFUL" I love her actually. She's so good. I really really like that about Sybil's character, how she's so inquisitive and stubborn about it even in the face of danger, how she's so attuned and attracted by the occult? I love Sybil so much. Fearless even in the face of-4 sanity damage it's so wonderful. And then Kit Sullivan gives her the Look and then maybe it's not such a good idea anymore actually.
The scene with Kit and James and Kit telling James that everyone's safe immediatelt upon patching him up ?? The way James' first thought is "is Sybil safe?" And then Kit affirms it, and when James gets upset at himself for being safe, Kit reaffirms that "you came back to us." (You're still here, we're still here, we'll get through this together.)
Immediately following that "Where is she? Where's Sybil?" Woow break my heart will you? And Sybil immediately running up to him. ("Neither of us went anywhere, it's okay." </3....) The sad music is so appropriate and it's actually so depressing but hopeful.
I'm not even halfway through, I just. Am so, so emotional rewatching this show. I love 1920s disaster gang, couldn't you tell? — Great performances by everyone too, truly, giant kudos. Will probably reblog again with more live commentary.
