Xavier was the kind of person who liked to live by his own rules. He gave up his family’s money to get them to stop telling him what to do, he worked at an autoshop even though he had two and a half careers, and he generally just liked to do whatever he wanted, whatever made him happy. But when it came to matters of the heart, he kept losing, even though he knew better. After his latest drama with Vincent, he was left hurt and disappointed.
It was an otherwise perfect night to go out, drink just enough to get numb, and bring home whoever he liked to entertain him for the night. He was too exhausted for that, however, so he just stayed home and ordered chinese food. When his food arrived, he realized they’d brought food for two by mistake, so, before he could realize what he was doing, he found himself texting Mason in hopes of some nice company.
