i think its funny that putting ‘i’ in front of things is impulse’s hermitcraft product branding because it almost implies he also created iJevin

can i get on my soapbox about something real quick..

i find it kind of strange and disturbing how frequently misogyny is used as a punchline on tumblr while at the same time drawing a hard line at transphobia/homophobia.

without giving any specific examples since i don't want to risk getting into an internet fight with specific people-- i've noticed a trend of tumblr users jokingly embracing "trans inclusionary radical misogyny" as a character trait, as opposed to the much more common terfism. i think that not only does this fail to recognize the bioessentialist beliefs that misogyny is centered around, but also explicitly says that misogyny is OK to joke about while transphobia is not. and that's weird to me! why can we sympathize with a misogynistic caricature but not a transphobic one?

and before my words get twisted, i'm not trying to say that misogynists should also be transphobic. i just find it Interesting that the website known for habitually ignoring/demonizing/stereotyping women, real and fictional, in favor of the Fandom Favorite Men Yaoi Kissing is also so infatuated with the idea of a Woke misogynist. maybe think about that a little more guys.

and i would also venture to speculate that there are a lot of transmascs on this website who, perhaps, don’t examine the fact they they would benefit from this fictional pro-trans misogynistic worldview. perhaps it is gender affirming to know that you would be accepted as a man by such a person. but how do you think that feels to trans women, or women in general, who don’t get to escape from misogyny?
