For me, the test of a new character face isn't "are they devastatingly attractive," but, "does this look like it could be a real person, within the limitations of the character creation screen? Do they look like a human when they speak? And from every angle?" That said, I think this is the best MShep I've made in all my years of playing the Mass Effect games.
I stopped my playthrough several hours in because the face I HAD been using for Fox Shepard (X Files reference--Fox Mulder claims that even his mother never uses his first name) was bugging me, so I made a new, improved version--which you see above.
And I gave him a big nose. Like, a serious honker. Just a bodaciously humongous schnozz. A next-level sniffer. Why? Because I'm not a coward. (I wanted to use the lip scar, too, instead of the cheek scar, but it creates weird beard gaps on both sides of the mouth. Hope they fix that soon.)
