Congressman John Lewis and Rev CT Vivian, Civil Rights Leaders - and MassBay Professor Virginius Thornton
As we remember Civil Rights leaders, Rep John Lewis & Rev C. T. Vivian, we can't help but also remember MassBay Professor Virginius Thorton.
He, too, was a member of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), like Lewis.
We were so fortunate he was part of our community.
